LEARN / OVERVIEW
What is
EvoForge?
EvoForge is one personal AI agent that does the whole job — code, research, creative work and games, end to end — instead of a stack of AI subscriptions you each have to learn. It runs on Windows and macOS, on its own Rust kernel, with the model providers you choose.
The answer in one paragraph.
Most people now pay for several AI tools — one for code, one for research, one for images, one for video — learn each one, and still stitch the results together by hand. EvoForge is built to be the one agent that carries a piece of work from start to finish instead.
EvoForge is a downloadable desktop application, published at evoforge.cc by PIXALIFE LIMITED (香港生命像素有限公司). It is a general-purpose agent: you give it a goal, and it plans, uses tools, works across your repositories, browser, desktop applications, terminals and servers, checks its own results, and hands back something you can review and keep — code, a document, an image, a voiced and scored film, a trained robot policy, a playable game.
It is not a chat wrapper and not a shell around another vendor's command-line tool. The agent kernel — tools, context, memory, approvals, sandbox and orchestration — is its own, and models plug into it: Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi, OpenRouter, or a compatible local model service such as Ollama. You bring the API key; requests go from your computer straight to the provider.

What EvoForge actually does.
It writes and changes real code
EvoForge reads a repository, plans, edits by syntax tree rather than by text, and proves a fix with a test that fails before the change and passes after it. A lead agent can hand work to specialists, or a swarm can claim tasks from a shared board. Read more in EvoForge as a coding agent.
It operates your computer
A real browser, any desktop application through the accessibility tree and the screen, a persistent shell and remote servers — each behind permissions you set. See computer control.
It works in every modality
It understands images, speech, music, video and documents on the way in, and produces images, voice, music, sound effects and finished video on the way out, on workspaces built for each: a writing desk, a canvas desk and a director's console. See the creator workspaces.
It gets better with use
Useful experience becomes memory, refined skills and new tools, and only changes that survive comparison and a regression gate are kept. See self-evolution.
Four editions, one agent.
Basic is the whole agent system — kernel, coding, computer control, the skills and plugin ecosystem, and self-evolution — free after signing in. Three add-on modules unlock a field each, and combine freely:
- Creator — the director's console, canvas desk and writing desk, with video, music, voice and sound-effect generation. $19 a month or $190 a year.
- Embodied AI — from a robot description through simulation and training to sim2real and the real robot, on EvoForge's own physics engine. $29 a month or $290 a year.
- Game Development — Godot, Unity and browser games, character motion from video or text, game AI. $15 a month or $150 a year.
EvoForge sells feature licences, not tokens: every edition runs on your own model key or a local model, so the model bill stays between you and your provider.
Not the other EvoForge.
Several unrelated projects use the name EvoForge — game mods, evolutionary-computation libraries, studios. This EvoForge is the desktop AI agent at evoforge.cc, made by PIXALIFE LIMITED. It has no connection with the others.
